Hello and welcome! As a licensed Marriage and Family Psychotherapist I provide an empathetic and trusting space to share your concerns. Working together we will uncover blocks to peace and contentment, identify and build upon strengths, alleviate symptoms, build more satisfying relationships and move towards bringing balance to your life. I have worked in community mental health for adults, schools and mental health clinics for children, adolescents and their families and have treated a wide range of disorders including-grief and loss, depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, divorce, relational issues, child behavior issues and parenting.
Being a parent myself I am sensitive to the needs of parents and children and have a true understanding of the challenges which can come with raising children and adolescents. I respect and bring a genuine curiosity, interest in, and compassion for people of all ages and diversities.
My approach to therapy and healing is integrative in nature combining traditional therapy practices and transpersonal, holistic principles. I use a variety of techniques and theories from family systems, psychodynamic, humanistic, transpersonal, somatic, cognitive-behavioral therapies, creative expression and child play therapies.
