My primary focus is to create an inviting space between us to allow this work to begin and flourish. As a therapist I am gentle, warm, and playful; I am good at putting folks at ease even as we explore hard things. We'll laugh, dive deep when you're ready, and where appropriate, I offer practical tools and insights. I am particularly knowledgeable in the areas of ADHD/autism, narcissistic abuse, and queer identity.
My approach is primarily psychodynamic, meaning I'll pay attention to the patterns that arise between us. Intersectional feminism guides my work to address oppression you may be facing and to help you thrive. I draw from trauma and mindfulness theories to gently incorporate the body, grow self-care practices, and develop a sense of home within yourself.
I love working with women and nonbinary folks from late teens and beyond. I'm particularly passionate about supporting people who are going through changes in identity (parenthood, divorce, faith, gender, sexuality, etc.) as well as those who are recovering from emotional abuse from disordered parents or partners.
