My focus is on healing developmental trauma and its accompanying symptoms. The clients I work with not only want to understand themselves but to discharge old trauma. With more than 35 years spent as a therapist, and with my specialized training, I help them use their body, mind and heart to get grounded, to connect to their authentic selves and to gain access to their full and unimpeded life force. The more any of us can live that way, the greater the gift to ourselves and the world.

I use a depth psychology approach to get to the root of client's symptoms. I also incorporate Somatic Experiencing techniques as a way to discharge trauma and decrease troubling feelings. This combination of a mental, emotional and physical approach allows for a more effective treatment result.

Along with knowledge, I use insight, intuition, empathy and feeling to help my clients connect to themselves and others. In this way, and in their relationship to me, they may begin to experience what has been missing in life and to create more successful outcomes both personally and professionally.
