My focus is on healing developmental trauma and its accompanying symptoms, which include anxiety, depression and unresolved grief. With more than 40 years spent as a therapist, and with my specialized somatic training, I help my clients use their body, mind and heart to get grounded, discharge old trauma and connect to their authentic selves. The more any of us can live with access to our full, unimpeded life force, the greater the gift to ourselves and the world.
I use both a depth psychology approach and somatic experiencing techniques in my work because we need to understand what is going on in our minds and bodies and be able to discharge trauma and regulate our nervous systems in order to live more productive and meaningful lives.
Along with knowledge, I use insight, intuition, empathy and an emotional connection with my clients to help them relate better to themselves and others. In this way, they may begin to experience what has been missing in life and to create more successful outcomes both personally and professionally.
