My name is Dr. Cheryl Paulhus. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 30 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, coping with grief and loss, life transitions and pain management. I work with each client to experience lasting and meaningful healing in different ways, not a one-size-fits-all approach. I have a compassionate and approachable demeanor and collaborate with each client to assist them in identifying the areas they need to focus on in their own way, in their own time.
The Integrative approach I take works on multiple levels, mind, body & spirit, that provide alternative ways of responding to your environment without getting stuck in the habits of the past that hold you back. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
I enjoy educating others about what I have learned over 30 years and am a Faculty Member for the International Trauma Training Institute where I teach courses on a range of mental health issues.
