As a therapist, my goal is to provide empathy and compassion in an emotionally safe environment. I am passionate about helping people through the most difficult challenges life may have. I work with people to build their self-worth, ease emotional pain, and help regain a sense of enjoyment in their life. I envision helping people recognize their strengths then building on them to become more self-confident and happier and aware.
I draw from several empirical validated treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational interviewing, Mindfulness and Expressive Art Therapy. In session I am active with you and will be a source of support and be an active listener.
