I offer a simple therapeutic approach for mental health issues. Dialectical Behavior Therapy gives you the freedom to be who you are as well as accepting others for who they are. Learning to control your emotions is unbelievably life changing. My clients have made so many changes in their communication, anger control, letting go of the past, and living in the present. Taking responsibility for your behaviors, not giving others permission to control how you feel, and learning how to love yourself first will make a tremendous impact for a positive change in your life. I look forward to talking with you. Carpe Diem
My emphasis is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This type of therapy was originally written for Borderline Personality Disorder clients. However it has proven to help a broad spectrum of mental health issues. DBT Skills will increase your communication skills as well as being in control of your emotions and not allowing your emotions to control you.
My life's adventures whether good or not so good have been the road map I have followed to becoming a therapist. I have been through situations in my life that directly correlate to your issues. I am not only book learned but I have experienced life's roller-coaster ride with all of it's ups and downs and scary curves. Let me help you get off that ride.
