About

St. Mary's Univ., Los Angeles, 3-year prog.); Certification in Clinical Traumatology (Traumatology Inst., Canada; w/ 6 more certifications ranging from Early Intervention Field Traumatologist to Compassion Fatigue Specialist); M.A. (Sociology & Anthropology, Fordham Univ., NYC); 20+ years as a writer & researcher; trainings &/or certifications in mindfulness, MBSR, SoulCollage, Enneagram.

The Grief Gathering
A monthly evening to share sorrow & solace. "If you live with grief," writes Jan Richardson, "you know what a wild mix it can be -- how terrible and how graced it is, how it opens our hearts even as it breaks them." You might grieve a lost loved one, marriage, career, loss of identity, transition, anything. The evening may include loss, anger, tears, & pain; sadness & struggle; community & companionship; rebirth & renewal; hope, grace, &/or laughter. There will be no rules about how to grieve. There will always be listening. There will always be cake. The short version: No Rules, Just Cake.
