As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked in home health/hospice/bereavement, health department, major universities, medical clinics and V.A. Being a foster child during my adolescent years inspired me to work in the helping field. In my practice, I acknowledge that you are the expert of your story so we build on your strengths. I believe in a holistic approach-focus on how mental affects physical, social, and spiritual-our whole person. I offer evening and some Saturday sessions. I now offer marriage/couples counseling using the Gottman Method.
Therapeutic approaches include Client Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, My clients are 18 yrs old and older. I specialize in trauma, grief and caregiver strain. I provide LCSWA supervision
