If you are struggling with multiple complex issues and haven't been able to figure out where to start or which end is up, we can work together to figure out how it all connects and what you would like to address . I appreciate the interconnection between physical and mental health issues, relationship struggles and the complications of addictions and habits. At our initial appointment, I will take some basic history, learn more about your current situation and your goals and then introduce the Cognitive Behavior Therapy TEAM model that I utilize to structure treatment. While I have trained in a variety of methods in my post graduate career, David Burns' Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TEAM approach is the one that I find to be the most effective in bringing about change. The focus is on changing the way you THINK to change the way you FEEL. You are actively engaged in the process and homework is an integral part of the work
