I am a licensed, clinical social worker with an abundance of experience in working with various challenges one may face across a lifespan but a particular interest in working with adolescents and women. When working with teens, whether for addictions, adjustment problems or to ease transitioning from high school or college, family dynamics are considered and provide a valuable platform for successful intervention. Cognitive/behavioral or psychodynamic approaches are used to provide a successful outcome.
I believe in the mind, body, spirit connection and work collaboratively with a wide array of professionals including acupuncturists, nutritionists and psychiatrists to whom i may refer clients to when needed for supplemental help. Additionally, I work with my clients strengths and avoid "cookie cutter" strategies.
In addition to providing therapy services to my clients, I provide clinical supervision to LGSW's earning hours for supervision and also offer consultation to LCSW-C's/LPC's. I have many years of experience providing clinical supervision in mental health and co-occurring treatment environments.
