For over 20 years, I have specialized in eating disorders/food addiction/addiction and trauma. Licensed in Kentucky and Illinois, I am a Certified IFS therapist and my goal is to help individuals and couples improve their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being by helping them clear up issues that get in their way. These may include addictions, difficulty with family/couple relationships, sexual abuse and unresolved trauma. By involving mind, body, and spirit, I hope to lead my clients toward deeper levels of integration and fuller lives.
I have worked with food addiction/eating disorders for over 20 years and use innovative techniques to help my clients not only change their maladaptive behavior, but to heal the underlying causes and belief systems that initially caused them to turn toward their coping method.
Due to my personal healing from addiction and trauma via IFS and recovery, I have a deep understanding of the healing process and a great respect for the courage my clients possess. Through the use of compassion and curiosity, I seek to empower my clients to believe in themselves and change their lives.
