I am a certified EMDR therapist who works with adults on trauma related issues through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is a method to help people process trauma more adaptively. When a traumatic event occurs, it seems to get locked in the nervous system with the original pictures, sounds, thoughts and feelings. EMDR appears to unlock the nervous system and allows the brain to process unconscious material more adaptively.
I currently have a few daytime openings for adults with Medicaid or Medicare
Office hours are on Tuesday 11am to 9pm, Wednesday 9am to 5pm and Thursday 11am to 9 pm.
