About
Greetings! I'm Chera, and I have focused the scope of my private practice on three very specialized (and desperately underserved) groups at high risk of suicidality within our community. Since graduating grad school in 2011, I have been treating people with gender dysphoria, in 2016 I began helping our veterans/military with PsychArmor training, and recently I earned my certification as a first responder counselor to provide crisis, cumulative trauma, and emotional agility training for our first responders.
Don't give up. It saddens me to see so many beautiful people feel so isolated, afraid to reach out for support due to fear of stigma or negative impact on career or relationships. I am here to help you find and develop the strength you need to live a life of happiness and fulfillment.
Please know I am not a fluffy, liberal therapist--I ride my Harley Davidson, love target shooting with my guns, and don't mind my clients cussing in session (as long as they don't mind me cussing, too! LOL!). I have developed a reputation for going to the mat for my clients and consider it a true privilege to walk alongside them on their life's journey.
