Hi there! My name is Chelsey Vest I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have joyfully been working in the field for about 10 years. While I have extensive experience with a variety of mental health and behavioral challenges, I specialize in sex therapy and young adults. I am licensed in Maine, Colorado, and Rhode Island. I use an eclectic approach in therapy which often includes solution-focused, mindfulness, and CBT. The goal is always to work together to find a method that works best for you!
The mix of populations with which I have worked has given me experience with a variety of different mental health and behavioral challenges: depression and anxiety, LGBTQ+ identities, sexuality concerns, mood disorders, healing from trauma, ADHD, ADD, Autistic Spectrum disorder, and many others.
I work hard to keep sessions warm and relatively casual. It's important that folks feel at ease when sharing information about themselves, experiences, relationships, and emotions. This has always been key as a clinician, college athletic coach, and adjust professor. Communication is the foundation in many facets!
