My name is Dr. Chelsea Taylor, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Alabama. I work with all ages up to 99+. I have extensive experience with assisting individuals with life changes, grief/ loss, and relationship issues. I specialize in child/adolescent behaviors and disorders such as ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, stress, and adjustment utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to help clients thrive despite life’s challenges.
My approach for goal setting is to gather what the client would like to work on during our time together. I am here to support your needs and what you feel is best for your life. As we build trust and rapport with each other, we will set goals based off of your needs and track progress.
During our first session, we will spend time talking about what brought you to therapy. We will discuss how you’ve been feeling regarding the issues you may bring. This session is also for you to be able to determine if I am the right fit for you as a client. I like to compare finding a therapist to buying a new pair of shoes.
