I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate and am EMDR trained. I work with people to help them understand themselves, those around them, and their relationships. I use a collaborative approach to foster client autonomy, so clients can develop skills in assertiveness, meaningful communication, and boundary setting while acknowledging strengths. My goal is to help clients develop skills they can use in various environments.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, EMDR, is an intervention that we use to help clients heal from traumatic experiences. The brain reprocesses these memories, so that individuals can have improved daily functioning.
