Hi there! Welcome :) My main areas of focus are working with clients who are 18+ who are navigating relationships in their lives and want to grow a deeper understanding of what is working for them or not working for them in these relationships. That is; relationships with others, with themselves, with the systems we live, and so on. We do this by diving deeper into understanding family systems, core beliefs, and processing past trauma that may be informing how we view and exist in these relationships present day. Areas of specific interest of mine are parent/child relationships, preparing for pregnancy, pregnancy, and postpartum.
I am a Certified EMDR Therapist who also likes to incorporate theories such as: Parts Work/Internal Family Systems, working with Pregnancy/Postpartum Clients, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Feminist Theory, Strengths Based Psychology and Humor, and Relational Theories. I have advanced training in trauma, dissociation, and parts work.
My door is always open to new clients, consultations, or if you just have questions about the therapeutic process and EMDR. My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible as we embark on this journey to change.
