I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2019, and I have experience supporting young adults and adults with concerns such as addictions, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship/ family issues, and anger management. My ideal client would like to resolve these issues by empowering themselves to learn how to counter negative thoughts, regulate emotions, tolerate moments of distress, communicate effectively, and mindfully stay within the present moment. My ideal client would like to learn these skills in order to manifest their ideal life and be the best version of themselves.
Anzen Counseling offers Attachment-Based, CBT, DBT, Feminist, Gottman Couples, and culturally sensitive therapy. I work with LGBT+, BIPOC, and single mothers. I also run a weekly Women’s DBT Skills Group every Thursday evening, virtual or in person, that is trauma-informed, affirming, and focused on emotion regulation, relationships, and resilience.
I became a therapist because I know how important therapy was to my self-improvement and healing. We are all human beings trying to live life to the fullest, but we often face daily stressors that can get in the way of reaching our greatest potential. I learned that caring for my mental health is empowering, and I want to empower others to do the same.
