As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, I provide therapy to adolescents, their families, and adults struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and negative body image. I was trained as a generalist, and I honor each client's individuality when it comes to treatment needs. Your relationship with food and body, as well as your relationship with mental health, is nuanced, historical, and contextual.
Many of my clients say that they have struggled with their bodies their entire lives. Other clients tell me that food or shame about their bodies is constantly on their minds. Rather than give more "rules" to follow, I help clients become attuned to their own body wisdom.
