I have been in the mental health field for the last 9 years in mostly secular roles where I have to tone down my spiritual beliefs. I have since stepped out in faith to start my own Christian Counseling Ministry because I believe that there are many Christians that struggle with their own mental health but don't seek help out of fear of what the church may think. I believe there is some disconnect with how the church conveys mental health and I hope to be that bridge. I started this ministry two years ago as an effort to utilize my own faith in what I love to do which is help individuals find peace in their mental health.
I specialize in Christian Counseling for the individual, couple or family. I am able to provide a biblical perspective to their mental health or marital struggles. I have worked with both adults, couples and teens and have a vast comprehension of mental health diagnoses and utilize CBT and DBT therapies to assist in developing coping strategies.
Life can take away pieces of us and we’re left wondering why we can’t do the things we used to enjoy. This is where speaking with myself can be beneficial. God wants you to be the best person He has created. A verse that comes to mind, Romans 12:2; renewing our minds so that we can recognize and obey the Will of God for our lives.
