Trauma is BIG...and small. It comes in many forms and at all stages of life. Do you sometimes have flashbacks to events that happened long ago? Do certain words, objects, people or places trigger you? Do you wonder if perhaps something that happened that you can't forget was a traumatic event? Do you wonder if you suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? Did anyone ever tell you they think you have PTSD? I use a combination of IFS, EMDR and Brainspotting to help you resolve PTSD, life conflicts and severe stressors. IFS and EMDR are unique therapy models. Unlike traditional ‘Talk Therapy’ EMDR and IFS uncover underlying causes of distress rather than simply being validated with compassion. Both EMDR and IFS achieve resolution of PTSD only via different protocol. I often use both models in the same session. Some clients prefer one specific model and many appreciate both.

I find that EMDR, IFS and Brainspotting are models that work well together and complement each other. I often use all three models in the same session. It is especially useful to switch and alternate between the models during all day intensives as one modality may work more efficiently than another depending on the specific issue being addressed in the moment (all day intensives are 6 hours long).
