About
George Gogas LCSW has extensive experience in the mental health and substance use field. He has treated many different issues which vary in severity and specializes in: anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, OCD, anger management, depression, substance use issues and trauma. George is also a combat infantry veteran who deployed to Afghanistan which has given him the life experience to relate to other veterans, first responders and and people who work or live in high stress environments. George enjoys working with men and other clients who are typically opposed to the therapy process and carry some stigma in asking for help.
Charter Oak offers individual therapy, as well as couple/family sessions for adults and adolescents. We take a supportive and non-judgmental approach to work with our clients. We offer full clinical assessments & recommendations upon request. Both in person and telehealth sessions available. In case of a MH emergency please contact 211, 911 or visit ED.
