About
Hello! I work with adults and adolescents who are trying to navigate a wide range of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that may be causing distress/stress in their lives. This can include anxiety, work-related stress, depression, suicidal ideation, relationship issues, anger, or just overall not feeling as well as you'd like to. I believe that true emotional health comes from being able to feel and manage a wide range of feelings without becoming overwhelmed. I can help support clients as they move toward a more holistic sense of wellness that is sustainable.
In therapy, I focus on exploring emotions, creating a safe therapeutic relationship, and building on strengths. I practice from a trauma-informed and EFT lens with an emphasis on client empowerment and resilience. I am client-centered and bring laughter and joy into the counseling space! I hope to create an environment where you feel safe to truly be you.
It takes a lot of courage to ask for support in times of need, and I really do hope I hear from you soon. I have experience working with clients that hold marginalized identities (gender identity, socioeconomic class, race, ethnicity, religion) and always approach clients from a non-judgemental and empathic perspective. Be well, hope to talk to you soon.
