I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Marriage Family Therapist in private practice for over 30 years. I work effectively and compassionately with adults of all ages, helping individuals, couples and families heal and grow. My goal is to help people develop into their full potential as rapidly as possible, overcoming problematic symptoms, behaviors, relationship issues and other obstacles interfering with their ability to live healthy, happy, meaningful lives. My advanced training in cutting edge treatment approaches enables me to efficiently identify and resolve core issues allowing for deep, lasting transformation.
I am an Approved Consultant and Certified Therapist in EMDR, one of the most effective treatments for resolving trauma, addictions, and other psychological issues. I'm also trained in the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy, a nurturing approach to healing aspects of self that keep us stuck in unwanted behaviors, beliefs and emotions, and Brainspotting.
I've had a Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and Other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders from the APA since 1996, and I am a Master Addiction Counselor through the NCC AP. I specialize in addictions of all types, and help individuals, couples and families find freedom from the pain, chaos and trauma of addictive behaviors.
