I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years. I believe that no matter what challenges one has faced in life, healing and wholeness is always possible. I work with clients who have been raped, or had any type of physical or sexual abuse. I also work with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, College and Career issues, relationship issues, grief, loss, and reproduction losses. I work with those who struggle with confusion or questions about their beliefs. I have 8 years experience as a hospital Social Worker, working with the critically ill, as well as the death and dying patient and their families.
I offer EMDR, talk therapy using a variety of concepts, as well as Christian counseling to those interested in incorporating this perspective in their therapy. However, I do understand that there are some who do not want this belief system incorporated in their healing journey, and I will respect that. I also work with therapists who are seeking therapy.
Life is an unpredictable mix of beautiful, challenging and painful experiences that was never meant to be experienced alone. With the wisdom and understanding from ourselves and others and from our own courage, determination and strength we can grow, heal and find beauty out of our darkest most challenging experiences.
