An IFS based expressive arts group for those impacted by CPTSD. Have you ever felt like a part of you takes over when you are triggered by something? Do you feel like you are 13 again? Do you have missing or fuzzy memories? Do you struggle to have a sense of self? Do you avoid thinking about or feeling certain emotions or memories? Whether you have been medically transitioned for years or you are just questioning socially transitioning, this group is for you! This group is for anyone who is AFAB and identifies as trans. Religious trauma is a very specific subset of CPTSD, finding other individuals that have experienced this type of trauma can be difficult and explaining what you have gone through to someone who has not gone through it often can get you a deer in headlights stare. I would like to provide you a safe space to be able to process through what you have gone through. I was in the Mormon church in Utah until I was 13 - I feel that lived experience is an important piece to religious trauma. I hope I can support you on your journey!
