I view therapy as encouraging people to view their life as changeable by their situation. When I do therapy, I use an approach that is warmth, relational, conversational, and direct with a little sense of humor. I am inquisitive and I do bring my knowledge of attachment, parts work from the Internal Family Systems model, childhood and developmental trauma.
In session, I often begin with utilizing a person-centered approach to build and develop rapport with my clients while also drawing from other therapeutic models. Clients can expect me as compassionate, empathic and authentic therapist who focuses on the 'here and now' in session while also learning tools to help you discover your authentic selves.
