I have had the opportunity for the last 25 years of working with children, teens, adults, and families around the country in various roles along my career. I have been a practicing clinician since 2013, having obtained my graduate degree and training from Michigan State University, School of Social Work. I have been successful in helping individuals in identifying strengths and weaknesses to aid in addressing the presenting set of problems shared, and outlined in the person-centered treatment planning process.
The therapeutic process will not work without trust, and I feel that through the rapport building process and the creating of person-centered goals, we can work together to effectively address whatever challenges with trauma, anxiety, anger, depression, or anything that hinders your peace and daily functioning.
I specialize in teaching anger management skills, helping overcome anxiety/depression, encouraging medication management, and helping individuals develop a more positive self-image. I have a special knack for being able to engage those that have been involved in the juvenile justice system, foster care system, and those with defiance and conduct disorders.
