I am a licensed Professional Counselor with more than ten years of experience in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, emotional and mental problems. I use the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to help improve individuals personal life, professional life and mental health life.
In addition to my educational and professional background, I have personal experience living with and managing the effects of a Traumatic Brain Injury. As a counselor I have worked with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety as well as vocational issues. I also have experience working with individuals having anger and stress issues at work and home.
I also understand the fears, frustrations, and stigma associated with cognitive disabilities, both as a client and as a practitioner.
