As a counselor, I specialize in supporting clients who are navigating the complex terrain of issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, low self-esteem and relationship issues. With over 7 years of experience in the mental health field, I understand the unique pressures and challenges many clients face and I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can begin. I am also an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist and can facilitate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to help clients heal from distressing traumatic events.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients identify and shift unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior. At the same time I have a client-centered perspective that emphasizes collaboration and acceptance in the therapeutic relationship to gain sustained change.
