I have over 30 years of experience counseling adults, children, and adolescents in a variety of settings. My experience includes serving as a therapist in inpatient, outpatient, therapeutic day school, residential treatment programs, behavior consultation, and as a school counselor. I have an MS in counseling from Indiana University and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
I currently treat adults and children with a variety of issues including, but not limited to: mood/depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, anger problems, ADHD, behavioral difficulties, academic-related difficulties, adjustment issues, impulse control disorders, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities, including autism.
Although I am adept at designing and implementing a variety of interventions and strategies to help people, I believe my greatest asset as a counselor is my ability to form quality therapeutic relationships and promote self-awareness and growth in a confidential and supportive environment.
