I am a Therapist with Battlefield Counseling, in Downtown Greensboro, NC. My passion is serving various marginalized communities including people of color, LGBTQIA+, and people living with HIV/AIDS. I value creating safe spaces for expression in a non-judgemental environment, which I find to be a core value when working with clients. I aim to create an environment that will foster healthy coping skills, expand self-awareness, and be conducive to my client’s happiness and overall well-being. I am committed to creating an environment that respects and affirms individuals of all abilities, races, genders, and sexual orientations.
My experience is working with adults who are impacted by challenging life experiences and a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, and life transitions. My approach to mental health and co-occurring disorders includes Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
