Welcome, and thank you for reaching out to begin your own therapeutic process. I appreciate the courage that it took for you to make this step. I hope to create a healing space that is meaningful and truly makes a difference in your life. I specialize in providing trauma treatment for clients who have experienced developmental (childhood) trauma related to adverse childhood experiences, as well as adult relational trauma and other single-incident traumatic events. I approach therapy as a collaborative relationship between me and my client to move towards the goals that the client has identified using my clinical knowledge.
If you have experienced distressing experiences as a child or as an adult, we can begin to work on finding some resolution to the distress that you're carrying. Sometimes, not getting the love and attention you needed growing up can have lasting effects and needs to be addressed.
I want to create an open communication with my client in which there is no judgment, and my client can honestly express their experience. I give space for my client to talk and reflect on their experience.
