Hi I'm Charlene and I’m a therapist dedicated to supporting adult women and men of color. I specialize in navigating the journey of healing from racial trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, depression, and childhood trauma. I understand that the impact of these experiences can be profound and complex, especially within a society that often overlooks the unique struggles faced by people of color. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where we can work together to unpack these layers and foster healing, resilience, and empowerment.
I provide EMDR therapy for adults who have experienced trauma. I also utilize therapeutic approaches such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and Multicultural Therapy. As a certified personal trainer (NASM-CPT), I also incorporate and encourage physical wellness into my mental health practice.
I believe therapy is a collaborative endeavor and I highly value my client’s feedback. I will always work to ensure your specific needs are met to the best of my ability. I understand that making the decision to enter into therapy is not always easy and I am more than willing to partake of this venture of healing and self-discovery with you.
