My passion for psychology was deeply inspired by Maya Angelou's courageous journey. Her emotional vulnerability and determination to share her story for the purpose of healing resonates deeply with me. Witnessing her strength and fearlessness in confronting her trauma has been truly inspiring. 24 years ago, I began my clinical journey, drawn by the transformative power of creative expression, just like Maya Angelou. Her ability to heal through writing has shown me the incredible potential for healing within each individual. I am committed to guiding others on their journey towards healing, drawing from extensive clinical experience.
In our sessions, we will use storytelling, creative writing, and speaking as part of narrative therapy. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I will focus on the stories you tell about yourself. Through exploring and reshaping these narratives you may find a way to free yourself from the impact of trauma and gain empowerment and agency.
These methods can help us reframe your experiences and create new, more empowering narratives to aid in your healing process.
