Hello, I'm Charlena Priddy. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) in OK and TX. I work with children, teens, and adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, helping clients develop practical tools for real, lasting change. Personally grounded in a conservative Christian worldview, I integrate faith-based practices into therapy when requested, while always honoring each client’s beliefs and values.
While I enjoy working with all ages, I have a special focus on child counseling and play therapy. I earned a BA in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas and an MS in in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University, and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist (RPT).
I focus on building a warm, supportive relationship where clients feel heard, understood, and equipped with practical tools for meaningful change.
