Growth Group: Thriving During Coronavirus
Need to talk to a therapist while working from home? During this social distancing period, virtual support provides an excellent platform for us to stay in touch. Staying relationally connected while physically distant makes the imposed isolation feel less lonely. It makes the technology feel less frustrating and the fear feel less paralyzing. Our group will help you establish a new normal and make you accountable in a sustained way. Benefits will be advantageous well beyond Covid-19. We are most likely to impact the world when the heat is on. If you are looking to create meaning in the midst of chaos, contact me.
Mental Health First Aid for First Responders
We are offering mental health first aid to first responders and frontline workers at a reduced cost. Mental health first aid is an intervention model used to facilitate psychological closure and reconstruction following exposure to a traumatic event. Goals are to stabilize, normalize, restore adaptive functioning, and identify individuals/groups who may need additional help. The goal is to intervene quickly to stop the symptoms from becoming entrenched. "It's not the stress that kills us, it's our reaction to it." (Hans Seyle)
