About
Hello, when you or someone you care about is looking for a therapist it is usually a difficult time; however that is exactly when therapy can be most helpful. I primarily work with individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, loneliness, trauma and stress. I am passionate about helping clients to create meaningful experiences and relationships in their lives, achieve personal goals and build confidence. It is my belief that each client is the expert on themselves and in therapy my role is to listen and assist clients in accessing their own internal resources, strengths and abilities.
I primarily focus on using Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques, which I refer to as parts work. In parts work I assist clients in listening to the different parts of themselves and supporting those parts to help them feel heard, understood and help them to heal - depending on what feels right to the client in the moment.
When you are in need of a therapist that is often the hardest time to reach out; however I'd like to be here to listen to you and help support you through this difficult time. Reaching out and asking for help is very courageous and it is one of the first steps towards building a more meaningful and purposeful life.
