Do you feel out of sorts? Do you have thoughts or emotions you're not sure how to navigate? If you feel alone and distressed, yet want to move closer to your true self, therapy is a safe place to do this. Hope is available; a renewed nervous system is possible. I love to come alongside, normalize your experiences, reduce distress, and help you discover, make space for, and embrace your true self. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, grief/loss, ministry/other burnout, depression, spiritual abuse, and past trauma/abuse. I love integrating Christian faith into therapy when you desire it. I provide supervision for LGPC's in Maryland as well.
In my therapy style, I see everyone as unique. I address each person as a whole: collaborating with you toward desired outcomes, increasing your self-awareness, regulating your nervous system, assisting with new ways to process, and giving helpful education. If you are anxious, grieving, stuck, burnt out, depressed, etc., this may be your next right thing.
I seek to provide restorative relational experiences. I aim for you to encounter respect, kindness, dignity, and safety so that this can be a comfortable space to share anything you need. I hope to be present with you so you can be present to yourself again. I see adults only; I am out of network, provide superbills, and can also offer sliding scale options.
