Announcement icon I am offering tele-therapy and tele-play therapy through video to all who want to be seen during this time.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families dealing with parenting difficulties, transitions, grief, social skills, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, low self-esteem, anger management, ADHD, developmental and learning disorders, and other behavioral issues. I also have experience facilitating social skills groups for ages 3 through 12. Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a special education teacher for five years and have experience supporting parents and clients through the process of receiving special education services in a public-school setting.
I strive to create an environment in which clients feel comfortable being themselves as they grow to understand the unique ways that they have been created. I primarily use interpersonal talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play therapy techniques in order to meet the varying needs of her clients.
I am passionate about celebrating the progress that my clients make as they learn to conquer life’s challenges.
