Thank you for visiting my profile! I am passionate about mental health. I believe in the importance of coming alongside clients to better their mental and emotional health, which can positively impact behavior and relationships. I can work with children and adolescents, as well as adults, with learning disabilities and ADHD, and help you obtain healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation and social skills. I can also offer career counseling for teens and young adults. I believe that we can work together to help you reach your fullest potential. I offer face to face counseling in Ohio, and Telehealth for both Ohio and Texas.
Before entering the counseling profession, I served as a special education teacher in various settings. I work with kids, teens, and their families in schools and communities. I have been trained to navigate mental health concerns with kids and teens. I use a combination of DBT and CBT to help you develop skills to build your social/emotional toolbox.
Life can be difficult for all of us. Although I do not have a magic wand to wave and make things better, I can provide the support my clients need to create and manage change. I believe that each client has a story. My role is to help the client tell and create a more positive story!
