My journey as a counselor began with my studies in psychology at Hellenic American University in Athens, Greece. I bring both a scientific and creative perspective into my work, along with a deep appreciation for Greek philosophy. I work with children, teens, adults, and older adults facing concerns such as anxiety, anger management, depression, OCD, ADHD, self-esteem challenges,life transitions, relationship difficulties, and identity exploration. I also enjoy supporting individuals exploring their sexual identity and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients understand and change unhelpful thought patterns. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which focuses on balancing acceptance and change. Together, we work to develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges and improve emotional well-being.
We can’t control everything in life or other people’s behavior, but we can learn to respond with greater self-awareness and resilience.
