As life progresses, we each encounter difficulties that create ripples in our lives. I aim to create a collaborative space in which to discuss the ways in which clients can experience change and feel empowered. Creating a non-judgemental space is crucial to me within the therapeutic environment, so that exploration of self can occur. I have had extensive clinical experience in identity formation, depression, coping, grief, comorbid mental health diagnoses, and anxiety. I enjoy developing a strong alliance with clients in order to facilitate a sense of growth.
Utilizing a blended approach, grounded in Eriksonian developmental stages, I conceptualize growth throughout the lifespan. I enjoy facilitating introspection in ways that feel the most comfortable to clients, whilst developing a greater sense of awareness and collaboratively discovering decisions that will greatly impact the quality of life.
My greatest concern is to be supportive throughout the therapeutic process as individuals progress at their own pace. Each individual is unique, and through a blended approach, my work is informed from a variety of theoretical perspectives in order to best fit individualized needs.
