I'm a cognitive behavioral therapist. That means that I help you to use your thoughts and behaviors to help you reduce the impact that your unwelcome or overwhelming feelings have on your life. It works!
I start every first session with "Tell me what's going on with you. What can I do to help?" Then we go from there. I end every session with "Was that helpful?" I haven't heard "No" yet.
