Collaboratively, I will work with you to find your true self and bring out the strengths that you already posses. I have been working in the field of mental health since 2013. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with trauma, human trafficking, behavioral disorders, Depression, Anxiety, other severe and persistent mental illnesses, intellectual disabilities and other special needs. Whether you or someone you know is dealing with these issues, I am here to help.
I received my Masters degree in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from Barry University. I'm trained in Applied Behavior Analysis, EMDR and TF-CBT. My theoretical orientation includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Brief Solution Focused. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy.
I understand that we all go through challenges throughout life. Do not be afraid to reach out for help. I provide a safe, non judgmental and cultural environment to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I am also from the Bahamas so I do have knowledge of the Caribbean culture.
