Has marriage been feeling hard for you lately? Do you feel like nothing you do is good enough for your spouse? Like every conversation ends in conflict? Wether you are in a new relationship or 40 year marriage, marriage counseling may be the right move. Both types of relationships are important and deserve the time to reflect and explore options when times are difficult. And as my clients are exploring these relationships, working on both their individual anxieties and emotional regulation, but also co-regulation. I will focus on skills and tools to help you continue to grow and build the relationship you want on a daily basis.
When your nervous system is unregulated, it can have negative impacts on your relationships. We will unravel the emotions, figure out the relationships they are tied to, and give them permission to transform into a more intentional and honest existence. With time, you will see your relationship change to be mutually beneficial.
It's ok to be nervous to prioritize your needs, especially when that has not been the norm. You deserve care too.
Text, call or email me to connect and we can determine if working together is the right fit for you.
This journey may seem overwhelming, but every small step will count. And remember to be gentle with yourself.
