About
I am very interactive with my clients. I incorporate both dydactic work as well as experiential assignments. I use the Brief Therapy model and I believe in "working myself out of job" with clients i.e. short term work, hard-hitting and then people need to move on into the universe using the skills/techniques taught and used in therapy. I am actively involved in the therapy process and I hold a high bar i.e. I want my clients to be and do the best that they can do/be. I love to work on codepency issues, relationshiop issues & self-care.
I encourage my clients to use outside resources and "go to the source" when they have disagreements. I teach the concept of "agree to disagree" and do it in a constructive way i.e. speak one's truth and be accountable for one's words and actions.
In my work with clients, I incorporate both written and verbal assignments, the use of music, visualization and fun. The ultimate is to find balance in both work and play. I work with diversity and the idea of operating/thinking outside of the box.
