Hello, my name is Chanel Taylor. I am an LCSW (99228). As a therapist, I work from a relational, strengths based, empowerment model as I draw from an attachment theory lens. For me it is important to draw on your strengths as we begin to do the work together. My areas of focus are healing inner child, self-esteem, generational trauma, relationship issues, stress management and navigating significant life changes.
My therapeutic approach is empowering you to own your truth, honor your strengths and gain the insight to work through and heal through the reason(s) that brought you to therapy. Some of the theoretical approaches I use are holistic, psychodynamic, narrative and attachment theory.
I am a relatable, easy-going therapist that creates an environment that feels genuine and calming. To work with me is to feel like you have some rooting for you as you navigate along this journey. I believe therapy should be collaborative and centered on what the client needs at that time.
