Welcome! I enjoy working with individuals living with anxiety, depression, going through life transitions, identity conflict, grief/loss, stress, family conflict, maternal mental health and complex trauma. My goal is to be able to provide a safe space in a culturally sensitive manner. I have experience working with adolescents/adults and I have conducted research in this area.
I am happy to provide an online space for these types of situations with compassion and cultural humility across the teen and adult lifespan. I try to remain as genuine, empathetic, transparent, compassionate and open-minded during my sessions.
I have been providing English and Spanish counseling services for 8 years. I am accepting new clients that are 14 years and older in the state of Virginia. My main approaches are Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed, ACT, & Intersectionality, but it is important for me to be flexible in meeting clients' needs.
