I believe in order to have total healing and complete growth, individuals must focus on treating all parts of themselves as a whole. This holistic approach includes looking within and at all areas of one's life (physical, mental, emotional, spirtual, etc.) I provide consultations and counseling/psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults and advocates. My main therapeutic approaches are Holistic and Cognitive-Behavioral. However, the therapeutic approach chosen will be client centered and problem focused on the issues experienced by the client to assist the client in reaching the most favorable outcomes, growth and healing.
My qualifications include having very detailed experience working with children, parents and advocates for children. I have 27 years of counseling experience working with culturally diverse, special needs and at risk youth populations within the school and agency settings.
